We’ve had a fair few dull miserable days lately, with rain intermittently all day. I found on those days that I would drop and pick up Beastie from pre-school and we would head straight home. Preferring to give the park a miss. It’s not much fun in the rain afterall. Even Beastie wasn’t game, preferring to be sat on the sofa rather than getting a wet bottom on the swing.
So what to do during the afternoons to relax whilst the boys have a nap? or Beastie playing with his toys or watching one of his favourite films? For starters, I always have a million and one things to do and do find it hard to unwind these days. Instead of making a cup of tea and putting my feet up for a while, I tend to sip my tea whilst hanging washing on the clothes airer, tidying toys and washing up. Sometimes the tea goes cold, much the same as when the boys are awake. If I do sit down I usually grab my laptop to check my emails and tinker with my blog. There are always endless things and jobs that I need to do. Sometimes I feel my mind never stops, it’s constantly wurring away. I know I need to take a break more than I do at the moment.
I am always open to try out new things and particularly anything that might help me ‘chill out’. I’ve recently heard more about online bingo with Ladbrokes and how easy it is play. There are lots of games to choose from and online forums where you can chat to other players and join in with the community. In actual fact it’s easy to become engrossed in the games, so it’s a good idea to set time aside to play. So for me nap times or during the evening when the boys are in bed.
It’s important to take time out of your day to do something just for you. I really should take my own advice more and having a little flutter playing bingo from the comfort of my own sofa, is certainly taking my mind off of the many things I have to do during the day.

I must admit I love a game of online bingo- great minds think alike.
